More than 500 years ago, the first wines from the Condado, specifically from Villalba, were exported to American lands, since then and up to the present day, the vineyards are part of the economy, identity, culture and festivals of these towns , connecting with their past and keeping their traditions alive.

The first degree wine cooperatives of the towns of Almonte, Bollullos, La Palma, Manzanilla, Rociana y Villalbabelong to the second degree OnuCoop. These cooperatives cultivate practically 100% of the vines in the Doñana Biosphere Reserve, using traditional methods, which contribute to the Doñana Natural Area with climate regulation, erosion control, contribution to soil formation and contribution of habitats for species among others. Considering its maintenance and expansion, vital for the conservation of said natural space.

The traditional cultivation of the vineyard in dry land in the municipalities linked to Doñana, is an inherited expression of their way of life, acting as a cohesive element between them.
