Tradition

More than 500 years of tradition and experience.

More than 500 years ago , the first wines from the County were exported to America. Since then, the vineyards have been part of its economy, its identity, its culture and its festivals, connecting with its past and keeping its traditions alive.

Sustainable agriculture

«Our cooperatives cultivate using traditional methods, which contribute to the natural space with climate regulation, erosion control, contributing to the formation of soil and contribution of habitats for species».

Traditional cultivation

The traditional cultivation of the vineyard is the only agrarian alternative that preserves the ecosystems of this Protected Natural Area.

"We have launched a project to change the fertilization of the vineyard in the dry land of Doñana, which will mean one of the greatest advances in environmental protection in the park"

DOÑANA GEOSYSTEM

In the Doñana geosystem, the vineyard fixes the soil, prevents erosion and thereby slows the clogging of streams and channels that flow into the marsh. A sustainable fertilization of soils and the microorganisms that inhabit them is pursued, to maintain and improve both the physical, chemical, and biological characteristics of the soil. The cooperative member seeks to reduce the carbon footprint of his crop, thus increasing both production and the quality of the vineyard and carrying out sustainable cultivation.
